showaddelement='no' What does this mean?

    What does showaddelement='no' in CSS mean? what would happen if I replace no with yes?

    That's not a CSS value. That looks more like something Blogger would use as a function. It should read as "Show Ad Element", thus setting 'no' to 'yes' should enabled/disable the ads, if any.
