Show thumbnail on index page and larger on individual post page??

    Can I show a thumbnail on index page and larger on individual post page?? I would like to show smaller pictures on the home page of my mix breed dog picture site and to help load time and improve page views. Is there a WordPress proven plug in for this?

    Its possible in only particular Word Press theme, Where code will automatic detect image in the post will be on home screen as a thumbnail. My blog is given below. Have look.

    It is actually possible. I have seen it on a lot of blogs, but i do not know!

    Though, You can use the Thumbnail for Excerpts plugin, as suggested by ayekaye01, it will help you show thumbnails on homepage!
