    What if his URL was www.watch-the-bay.com?

    Would that still be breaking the rules?

    my traffic is mostly organic. i only advertise through forums. i would like to start paying for advertising but i dont see paying to get a banner on a site as working out. ive tried it in the past for another business and it was wasted money.

    i dont think ebay is going to come after something thats making pennies, when they have other things to deal with that are worth millions/billions. im not worried at all.

    I don't think its so much as in what or how much you make but the fact tha you are using a name they own to make so kind of gain. They may not just want their name used by someone else which they have a right to do. You would too if you owned any kind of worldwide product.

    The last thing a company wants is a small cheap site that detracts from their image. It will come, you don't have to take our word for it.

    Thank you - and I agree with you this is a good suggestion... to make the " buy button " go straight to the cart.

    It prolly would convert better but because the product in this case are SANDALS < a consumer needs to be able to pick the size. When picking a size option they have to do this on the retailers / advertisers product detail page > thus preventing me from dropping a user straight into the advertisers shopping cart.

    Also - CJ datafeeds don't provide sizing matrix's.

    For example SKU A194 has 20 different UPC's sizing options underneath the ONE SKU.

    ------------>

    I did get the chance to use your buy button idea here though - on my Skin Care Cj affiliate website where I'm partnered with SkinStore.com - its working well -

    Check it out - { click the buy button on this page } < takes you straight into the shopping cart of the retailer.

    Here's one of my ebay stores:

    Jeep Garage

    This little site is turning about $400+ a month using my phpBay Pro script. This was really just a test site to demonstrate how phpBay could be used, but it's taking off pretty well. Sure hope someone buys an actual Jeep, instead of just parts, one day!

    I plan to do some more stores like these in the next few weeks. They are easy to setup and once they are setup, buy a few paid blog posts to them and some directory submissions, and MSN seems to give them some decent traffic.
