    what would be good is if after you clicked the buy button this went directly to the merchants buy page for the product.. conversions would be a lot better i think... Is this possible?

    after reading all of this thread i think im going to have a go at one of these.

    is BANS a free script that i can use to display the latest ebay auctions on whatever topic i choose?

    anything else i should know before i start?

    I think i will make one in the automotive field as i already have a few auto websites i can link to it.

    Also, I am from australia, So i would link to ebay.com.au ??
    but most traffic on my auto sites is US

    After looking through the sites posted, I only have one thing to say.... Mask your affiliate links...

    Im sorry but nothing is a bigger turn off or less professional looking than to be on a site and see a link to a product that looks like "qksrv.net?adsgdsgjsddg=sdgsdgsdgds36151gdad=sdgsdgds"

    Use Mod_Rewrite or PHP redirects to mask it to look like the URL is on your site but have it automatically redirect to the affiliate URL...

    You can use this simple cloaker:

    simply save it as linkname.html for example - yahoo.html and then link to yahoo.html instead long aff links which scare some customers.

    So how best is it to do this when you have multiple links on the one page?

    On my website I could have up to 20 different affiliate links on the one page.

    I dont want to be creating 20 different files to point to

    My 2 sites site on a windows server and not linux - so no php and mod_rewrite options are there?


    What other options are there? create an asp page linking to a database ?

    Well I got some bad news for you.. eBay, like almost every other company out there, is very protective of their trademarks.. ie: the eBay name. It's only a matter of time before you get a cease and decist letter from eBay.

    I emailed them months ago asking if I could register a domain with the word "ebay" in it. They replied and told me they do not allow anyone else to use their trademarked name in a URL.
