Hi there - great forum! I'm looking forward being a part of it.

Could you provide any usefull tips for generating revenue for me?

The situation is that I have some powerful information pages SEO-wise in Danish that will soon be launched in English.

The pages have unique content and the subjects are within consumerproducts of different kinds.

HOW would you go about finding the best revenue? AdSense and what else? How can I expect the revenue split from the programes you sugest? (ball park figures of course!)

    Thanks! /Anders

Hi, welcome to the club! 8)
Read through the forums, there's a lot about generating revenue. Actually, it's all about generating revenue here.
Try AdSense first, use rectangles, make borders the same color as the background.
Google pays about 70% out to non-premium publishers (publishers with less than 10M/mo pageviews).
Also important: get a lot of traffic ;)
    Good luck!

Welcome to our community. Try doing some searches for the subjects that interest you. There are really good threads on DP about how to monetize your website.

Welcome! Don't adsense operate in Danish? How much traffic you getting at the moment. You must be prepared for a lot more competition when you do translate your pages into English. Also, you should have .com domain to take advantage of search traffic all over the world.

Hmm... but why does he have a .com to take advantage of search traffic all over the world? I think any international extension (like .org, .net, .biz, or even .info, .us or .ws) could be useful... Usually, the .com domains names are already taken.

Just some anecdotal evidence, but for a time when I was starting out, I used free faux domains like those from cjb.net and uni.cc. I thought it was normal to get low placements in search results. When I switched to a real .com domain, I was surprised to suddenly find myself quite high in the rankings for several relevant keywords. I guess having a domain does help, though I don't know whether .com is better than other TLDs.

I will put it all on a dot com domain for sure.

Regarding the competition: I end up in the top of searches in the Danish market - that's why next step is to look for more searces (there are only 5 million Danes) and a lot more people speaking and searching in English! :)

The page views on the danish information pages are 10-20.000 pr month from search engines. So it will be very interesting to see how they will do in english results and how many page views that will give!

    Thank you for your welcomes!
