So I have been thinking about this for a while now.. I was thinking I could open a website like wordpress.org and distribute my script that I am using on FilmReelz.com for free or for a price. Do you think a lot of people would jump on board of is it just a waste of time? Of course I would de-skin it and distribute it with a simple design that could easily be modified. Here are the features (so far). FilmReelz.com - Movie Review, Movie, Articles, Blogs Database User Registration -User Friends -User Profile -User Comments -User Blog Rating System Ranking System (updates every 24 hours to eliminate database overload) Commenting System Recommend System Reviews Section Articles Section Videos Section Albums Section Movies Section Polls Point System -Users get points for everything they do. Point Store -Purchase items for their "shelf" which is displayed on their profile -Purchase graphics layouts, and or real items such as movies, posters ext. Most likely more to come I keep on adding. So what do you all think, good idea are fail?
If u offer your script for free, This will be the best idea or if u want to release this for price ... i'm afriad, There are so many alternatives like, worpress, joomla, drupal and so many. -Thanks
