Show better paying ads with Wordpress plugin

I just found this plugin for Wordpress that claims to allow you to get better paying ads showing on your site, by feeding it keywords to trigger higher paying ads.

For eg. if your blog is about something that doesnt pay well, like a humour site, you could feed the plugin some high paying keywords like "refinancing mortgage" etc.. to show ads for that topic.

does anyone know about this plugin or think it is a bad idea?

I dont see anything in the TOS that expressly forbids it. Unless this is what they would consider cloaking?

Yeah this is quite interesting, my niche is very low paying, but i'm not sure if this counts as sort of adding 'hidden' content?

It sounds like cloaking to me. The only way you can trick Adsense into displaying ads unrelated to your content is by adding irrelevant content and hiding it from ordinary readers.

I don't know what's the point in the first place - your CPC may go up, but your CTR will probably go down. The selling point of Adsense in the first place is that its ads are contextual, so they encourage readers to click on them.

You're likely right. The more I think about it, I bet they would consider it cloaking. At least there are some other useful, legit plugins on that site for WP + Adsense

its kinda of cloaking...well actually it is.

Google Adsense is a contextual ad program and its obvious if you try to cheat them by using cloaked keywords, its illegal.

Stop dreaming about those $$$..start building that content!

Yeah, because 12 year old kids who goes to your site to play arcade games will stop to click on that $2 home mortgage ad. If you wanted to target high paying ads, you should have made a site specifically for it instead of resorting to this desperation.

    sounds like a good idea,

if your getting 10 clicks for 3 cents...

and 1 of the kids is clicking 1 time on a high paying ad.. you have already more money..

i should try it out if i had the script

All that's going to happen is you'll be smart priced, so the mortgage ads pay the same as the $0.01 ads you have now.
