They've edited out my comment. On Shoutwire that is, not on digg.

I don't get this ShoutWire at all.

Why do they constantly delete people's good/relevant stories? If they don't want people posting stories, they shouldn't accept them in the first place

A little closer inspection of the editors / staff would reveal that most, if not all, have other site affiliations and they're posting stories to generate buzz and traffic to them. Then an immature editor has the gull to go around the online community forums and cry foul for people not following rules (made up on the fly and not in their TOS). The BLUF (bottom line up front) would appear that their hypocritical stance of self-promotion is not boosting their own articles and egos. However, I should point out in all fairness, this seems to be the whining of a few editors and not ShoutWire as a whole. The owner has yet to speak up one way or another; but, continually allowing his editors to publically behave this way is not speaking well for the image and professionalism of his site as a whole IMO.

True i posted an article to shoutwire, it seems they deleted it.

So what if i wrote it myself. If it is good it will get dugg (shouted).

But banning an article just because i (author of blog/site) wrote it is stupid.

I recommend Shoutwire thinks about their mission statement.

It is like saying a band should not go on a TV show because they are promoting their own music.
