i supose, but all in all thats a horrid business practice. why shun the communites that will bring them alot of their content and traffic.

so heres teh idea.... everyone set up a webpage on their servers with rss feeds to their posts, we can exchange those links instead... bah what a joke

thats all it said and of course the post was deleted.

i wish they would atleast do that for me, then i would have a better understanding of what they consider junk. mine wasnt junk and it wasnt even directo advertisment...

What about reporting bad or broken stories?

This is worrisome. Any follow-up on why it was deleted or why they considered it junk?

 

Well i guess they are deleting everybodys post related to DP in someway. Even though i removed my link i guess they got it by the username, since it was the same. Thats not fair, if the post doesnt get votes let it be, why delete it?

 

honestly i am starting to think that the "other people" using this site prolly have multiple accounts and are removing any frontpage competition... atleasts thats my guess at this point since i have received no word back from shoutwire. i did find out its owned by aol.... which could explain everything....

well yes, because it's not news..........the first one is a promotional piece about your website.

 

i had a shout deleted again, this one was totally a news release... it was about the treo 700w gsm being released in the second quater. good news right?

luck has it that the news about the latest ipaq rom updates has stayed... but no shouts

 

well if it was copy or pasted from the other news site directly it'll be deleted

 

i dont copy its a waste of time. thats not even a nice thing to say

svc and wmr do really well on shoutwire cause there posts are more news and not like "CHECK OUT MY COOL PRODUCT"
