Why they are hiding address if they are providing genuine hosting ? Shoutserv had only a WHMCS contact form. And a msn id. I dont know how, clients are believing in such a host who don't have at least a self made contact form and an address , phone number. Nowadays a mobile handset is not such costly I am asking again, how many hosts here in DP is having a office address displayed on their website ??? Im not hiding my address, im just not making it public, as I said, if people want it - All they have to do is ask and they never ask so they obviously arent too concerned about it. I have my phone number listed on every page, along with a direct email + emailing form + an automated response system. They also rarely call, usually just stick to emails or the support system. Anyways case rested, Shoutserv = scammers address or no address

With our without an address does not mean a whole lot. They can put up their home address but they still aren't a legally registered business and do not file taxes on the income or anything. So I don't think address has anything to do with whether they are scammers or not. We don't publicly display an address or heck even a phone number (we don't offer phone support). Although we've had a few calls to the phone number on our whois from customers asking for support with an issue. But you know what we're a legally registered business and have the documents to prove it. It be a heck of a lot harder for us to simply walk away out of nowhere
indeed, i dont know about the USA or Europe, etc. But here in Australia we have a business registrar that issues a number that identifiest that you have registered your business and if you have the rights to charge taxes.
