I am extremely proud to announce my new directory! After 50 very long hours of working in just 3 days (about 12 hours of sleep, 12 hours of doing work for clients), I have finally completed my new site. What I've done: - Custom design - Tableless coding - Integration into phplb script (never done before, and never will do again!) - Validated code as much as possible - Modification of guestbook script to use as a commenting script - Added pagerank button and alexa button to make it easy to know - Added javascript bookmark script - Setup demos of all the wordpress templates, added example posts to make it look better, turned off commenting to prevent spamming - Added 10 free wordpress themes for download, setup a modified commenting script for each theme to allow commenting, added smilies to make it more appealing - Making it compatible across browsers In total it has cost me $95 and 50 hours of my time, and that's just getting it online! Just when things looked getting easier, out comes the to-do list: - Get a PR6 within two updates (no excuses for failure) - Over 10,000 backlinks within 6 months - Hold a competition involving something cool like an iPod Nano - Add more freebies (anyone have some ideas?)
