Should you use the Search Network?

After I switched one of my campaigns over to just Google Search, my CTR seems to maintain itself and prevents me from getting Google slapped. I'm not so sure what search engines are part of the Search Network but I honestly don't trust advertising in any other search engine other than Google. Has anyone had any success using the Search Network?

Depends on niche. If you promote free stuff offers you can hit :D But selling e-books or shoes makes difference. And this traffic is'nt cheap now.
The best way is to try it for a day or two and see the results

It seems that your CTR isn't as good when you use their Search Network. But Adwords counts your CTR in the Search Network as equivalent to your CTR in Google Search.

i didn;t find search network to be working for me. quality of traffic i got from search network is very poor and less converting compared to google traffic. checking my analytics, i saw some bot hits as well with 100% bounce rate. at least for my niche, search and content network doesn;t work

I personally don't use the Search Network. The Search Network contains sites like nytimes.com, etc. It is better just to use Google.com for Search. Then again I don't know what your niche is.

Yes, I agree with you. I'm guessing that the traffic through the search network is equivalent to traffic from ExactSeek.com. Targeted searches but less serious visitors.

i think its a hit or miss.

90% of the time I leave it on, as the traffic is about the same.
