Should you disable links that link to the same page you're on?

    When you setup the navigation for your website, is it better for your SEO to disable the link on the navigation for the page you're on? Basically, should you have links on certain pages that link back to that same page?

    Since I believe that there is no reason for SEO to link from a page to itself, sometimes it's much more easy, as you work with a template, for instance.

    Yes, disable any un-needed links. The more links on the page, the less each link's value is. It doesn't matter what type of link.
