Its hard to ban anything, but personally I hate to talk to people who I don`t see the eyes. That goes for sun glasses too.

I am thinking more about modesty as it does not seem to exist anymore.

It would not bother me, but thats not my question :) I would rather like people to dress because it would bother many.
But why do we need modesty ?

I can understand why they would want to ban burqas....especially after they have seen men dress in them and either plant bombs or wear suicide vests...while I like the freedom to wear what I like, I also understand national security. If I can't abide by it, then expect me to leave. the law is the law, afterall.

I hate islam, I hate everey muslim.

    But baning burqa? No.

Its dangerous to be without. Humans lost their furr cause you added clothes. It has nothing to do with islam, the early 20th century brittish farmer girl coverd her hair and had a lot of clothing almost like burqa, why? Cause the bible tells you to dress modestly.

Skin canser is a serious problem, and it gets bigger and bigger.

Why? Cause girls skirst get shorter and shorter. Humans and all mamals where not created to get their skin exposed to the sun. We are not reptilians, we get skin canser and die.

we get plenty of stuff from the sun, like vitamins. everyone needs a little sun, the danger of skin cancer is an over exposure, like getting burnt. you typical day of sun will not hurt you.

That's completely ridiculous. You can wear a suicide vest under a heavy coat, but that doesn't mean you go around banning heavy coats. The burqa is no different, and there's no reason for it to be banned.

its not ridiculous when you have cross dressing terrorists!

The UK is not an islamic state, therefore if they want to ban it in terms of national security, I would be all for it. last time I checked, not many terrorists wore heavy coats, instead they wear middle eastern garb...

What's to stop a terrorist from buying a heavy coat if they can no longer use burqas to hide suicide vests? Banning a piece of clothing doesn't solve the problem. Instead of worrying about what clothes to ban and what people choose to wear, governments should be focusing on investigating possible suspects and stopping these attacks before they happen. I believe it's called police work.

You go to where they live and arrest them just like anyone else. How many times have you heard of a terrorist getting away in the UK because they were wearing a burqa? It's never happened. The UK is exceptional at tracking these people down and clothing has never been an issue in the arrests.

so would you wait for a terrorist to wear a burqa and cause mass damage? or would you be safe and just go ahead and ban them?
