Use most targeted Keywords in your title tag less than 65 characters.

You should be able to write your title to target multiple keywords. Including 2 or 3 keywords in a title is fine.

Two keywords targeting the webpage theme and not the site theme(it should only be in homepage)

Some people think that the more keywords you use, the less weight each one gets. In other words adding more keywords spreads out the available effect. So it depends on the specific case. If you have two keywords that are about equally important, use both of them. But if there is one keyword that is much more important than the others, use it alone.

Using multiple keywords is ok but do so in 2 ways.

    1. Main Keyword 1 |Secondary Keyword 2 |.... but not too many. 2 or 3 is ok.

    2. Blend them in, eg make money online, make free money becomes "Make Free Money Online"

That is the way I do mine. It is much cleaner. Except I structure it like:

Website Name | Category | Page Name/Page Keyword

2 to 3 would always be fine. The only thing that matters is that are they the right keywords. There are many words that you can think of, but it should be the right ones.

You can use multiple keywords but always remember that the most targeted keywords are the most important.

homebizbuilder suggested the best practice to do it. Don't use the same title for homepage and inner pages. Make your title readable and attractive because it will appear on SERP, even though if you are in 5th position and your title is more attractive you will get more clicks than site at first position.
