    Hello everybody,

Do you think that we should pay for Adwords to make money from Affiliate Programs like CJ or CB?

Absolutely. The big boys do it almost exclusively. But you have to be pretty knowledgable on how to use adwords or you can loose your shirt. Just start out small and watch your campaigns carefully. Expect a success in around 1 out of 10 campaigns. When you get a successful campaign, or one that is close to breaking even, then really start tuning the h*ll out of it, and drop the loosing ones.

    Hey vntutor,

We would most certainly recommend you start using Google AdWords for your affiliate programs above anything else, not only because it's easy to use, setup and start running, but you can also successfully analyse and test your chosen market before hand, just to make sure you are going to make some money before going fully into Internet marketing.

    Good luck!

    Regards,

It helps if you study hard, don't give up after initial losses, and have a few grand to cover the inevitable mistakes. It took us 2 months before we worked out how to make a profit - now we have 10 staff.

You would use adwords if you plan to build LP's for the offers. I feel, nowadays using adwords and sending visitors directly to the merchant links is not just worth the efforts.

Yes you can but start slowly! Always test your campaigns and see how much profit you had. If you see that an ad makes you money (I mean in percentage) then start spending more money on that campaign.

No just Adwords and the stats from the affiliate program. There many ppc & tracking tools out there that can help you with detailed stats.

Do you use Adwords Coupons? Is it valid for using a long term?

No not really. However it is just like having another e.x $25 for free to spend. If your earnings are greater that $25 you are just in the game! If you do not bid carefully you will loose that -free- money. I am not sure of how many times you can use different coupons each time. Well I am always using coupons for registering domains but Google might have a different system.

i get the impression that the QS in adwords is really hitting hard those that direct link from there LP to the mercants.

Absolutely not. Never, never, never consider using adwords to promote affiliate products!!!! This type of abuse of Adwords will surely lead to the end of the free market economy as we know it. Just say no!!

Is that really true what the earlier poster said that on average 1 out of 10 programs turn a profit in adwords?

How successful is it just to put the direct affiliate link in adwords? Anyone recommend that or do you always recommend a landing page.
