    Hello,

Should we mask affiliate links in blogs? I am thinking like this... when we add an affiliate link mark that as an affiliate link like this..

E.g Web Hosting (affiliate link) or just Web Hosting (aff) I have noticed this in some blogs... and also I have seen another strategy...

That is when ever we have an affiliate link we publish the affiliate link as well as a regular link.... and tell the visitors the same so that its upto them... in that case which one do they choose? the affiliate link or the non affiliate link?

Please post ur views on this and if u tried this methods or any other like this then post about that too :)

I would think masking it with a PHP redirect or using TinyURL and then showing that it is an affiliate link will make people click it if they really want to and at the same time, we are being "transparent".

Right now am masking using PHP.. see http://www.minterest.com/top-10-web-hosting-companies/

And I thinkk PHP redirect is better than tinyurl... Am masking CJ affiliate links because I dont like that... sgrdgsdg.com will someone trust a link that one?

And again am planning to link directs links also as php redirects... so that it looks as a standard and all links will be realated to the site itself....

But will that affect SEO? As my outbound linsk would dissapear wholly...

I always parse my aff links with nofollow tags though.
