    Hello,

Should we keep submitting your URL to search engines (like monthly) or just one time shot? for example, google.com, msn.com, aol.com, etc...

    Thanks.

Submit once, add an xml sitemap and submit it to google, keep your site up to date, add content regularly and build links slowly but surely.

Submit site once. Then if site does not get listed after a few months try again. I would not keep submiting site when it is listed.

There is no point in submitting a site to search engines anymore. I found that the easiest way to get a site or a page indexed is to submit it to Digg, or write a short article and submit it to eZineArticles. I get my sites/pages added to Google index within days of submitting them to Digg or eZineArticles.

Native site/page discovery by search engines is much better. I've read somewhere (I believe it was at webmasterworld forum) that submitting your site to search engines actually makes it longer for your site to appear in the SE index.

    Good luck.

No need to submit your site. Just wait for them to crawl your site. Best way to get indexed quickly is to have links from forums that is frequently updated. Submitting your site to social bookmarking site will also help.

I agree with everyone who has said that there is no need to submit your site to a search engines. As long as you have links pointed to your website from other places the SE bots will find it.

Don't even bother, submit it to digg and within 24-48 hours it'll be indexed.

    Wow.

Search engines use software ( spiders, 'bots, etc ) to crawl the web and see what's out there. They save a copy of what they find so they know whether it matches any queries or not, and they come back later to do it again. When they're "reading" a page they save its content, but they also make a list of all the links going out from that page. They use the links for the lion's share of how they rank pages in a search, but they also see what's on the other side. Like a table of contents for the web.

So as long as you have at least one link from a page the search engines are going to crawl anyway, you don't need to submit anything to them, even once. They're going to crawl anyway, so it's not like putting your URL in their form makes things easier for them.

I am a firm beliver that never submit your site to any search engine. I registered 3 way linking in Aug'07 and within a span of 1 month all search engines indexed it in their normal routine and now this site is PR2 along with SERP standing on 1st or 2nd page for 4 of my keywords.

    DO NOT SUBMIT

Let SE's do their job in routine fashion

    What if you submitted already

Is it to late to try out Social Bookmarkings and subitting to digg

I purchased 100 Social Bookmarkings and the report is completed. Will my site still show up in those keywords on googles

Never submit to search engines. They will find you, use your time to build links to your web sites instead of wasting time by submitting them.

I totally agree here. There is no need to submit your site to Search Engines again and again. In fact, sites which have incoming links to them automatically get indexed by Google and other SEs and do not need any kind of submission.

We're telling you that don't submit to search engine just wait for them to indexed your site. But we're not advising you not to submit in directories. You can submit your site to directories. Search engine and directories are different, search engine has an algorithm in evaluating your site will directories are human edited. Besides directories is not the only technique that you can do to increase PR, you can do forums posting, comment posting on blog, social bookmarking and getting links from other related sites.

    OK. Thanks.
Look like I need more links.

I am thinking about buying a directory submit software to submit my sites.
What do you think about submiteaze.com and traffic seeker?

    Which one should I try?

    Thanks.

Your directory script does not have option to add custom dirs.
    Please advice.
    Thanks.
