May be most ppl doesn't feel it, but i am annoyed but ppl who bump their own thread. My thread always sinks because other keeps bumping.

In some forums there are rules in no bump(like dnforum, eventhough no one ever follow the rules..)

Well, yea bumping sure is annoying. But its really difficult to control such a thing on a busy forum.

Even if you make the rules, n00bies join this forum just to market their products/services, you just cannot teach everyone about it.

Making a new one about the same thing isn't allowed either.

So are you saying if we make a link selling thread, and no one ever replies to it we arent allowed to sell ever again?

Thanks in advance for clarifying things up.

count how many time he bump his thread in 4 day

IMO a 20 day to 1 month period in between would be fair

if you bump at least make it look like you're adding something good..

Don't just say "bump" like some do and don't quote the previous bidder saying he has the highest bid - that's the most annoying..

Posts every 10 minutes is definetly stupid... id never do that... what this thread did was just confuse me because i do bump or make a new thread about the same sometimes in a week sometimes in a month... sometimes if i really need to make a sale id bump in 4 days but thats not often at all. Problem is in less than 12 hours if no one has posted in your thread it will be on page 2, in a day it will be in page 5 , in 4 days page 12!! =P
