Should we all change encoding?

    I normally use the ISO-8859-1 or ISO-8859-15 encoding. It is more and less out of old habit. However I have noticed that ads using Unicode characters becomes less than pretty (and often unreadable). e.g. SMS Sprüche,
    this problem could be solved in two ways. We should all change to one of the UTF encodings or we should all stop using unicode characters. I have tried to run ads in the past that using characters outside the ascii set and I have seen the same result and very little effect of the ads.

    UTF-8 is definitely a superior encoding... especially since it's backwardly compatible (completely) with ISO-8859-1. I run everything in UTF-8 (even if it's not necessary) these days.
