Should use full urls or file names ?

Hi-

What is better to use in navigational links of a website?

Is it full url or pointing to the file names ?

For eg,

Home ( URL : http://www.blah.com)
Services ( URL : http://www.blah.com/services.htm)

or

Home ( URL : index.htm)
Services ( URL : services.htm)

Which is better in SEO point of view ?

I tend to use the absolute url.. However I try to define url as folder (eg http://www.blah.com/services/ ) simply because if you update your site (eg from html to asp) it will be a lot easier with http://www.blah.com/services/..).

I dont think this matters much. I guess the user / webmaster friendliness is more important than the seo changes.

Does its better to use /services/services.htm than simply services.htm ? ( SEO wise ?)

I personally think its always better to have the shorter url (shorter path). Any SEO benefit of having an additional keyword will be lost.

If there was a positive benefit to /service/service.htm , why not /service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service/service.htm ?
