Much like the Pro Bowl in football, the NHL All-Star game is a game that very few people who follow the sport of hockey actually care about. While the NFL has the good sense to have the Pro Bowl after the NFL season ends, the NHL is still stubbornly insisting on interrupting things mid-season for a game that lacks passion and intensity, and is viewed with growing derision from fans and media alike. Should the NHL get rid of the All-Star game altogether, or should they offer some incentive to the teams involved (eg - home ice advantage in the Stanley Cup finals for the winning conference)? What are your thoughts?
