Should the keywords also have hyperlinks on the page?

My keywords have some hyperlinks on the page but i also have other hyperlinks. So i put some of the other hyperlinks as keyword in my meta tag and got a better percent on the keyword analyzer.

But the words were ,home page ,site map, about us, and so on.

    Does this matter?

Normally, it would help, but "home page, site map, about us" are not keywords - they're navigation aids. If the keywords were in your content they'd help, but only as long as the keywords are relevant to the links in question, and the content around them. Read "All You Need to Know About SEO" (link is in my signature) for more information.
