There are many reasons why hemp shouldnt be legalized, but there are some reasons why it should. Here is a very important reason it should be legalized. Hemp seed oil can be used as is in bio-diesel engines. Methyl esters, or bio-diesel, can be made from any oil or fat including hemp seed oil. The reaction requires the oil, an alcohol (usually methanol), and a catalyst, which produces bio-diesel and small amount of glycerol or glycerin. When co-fired with 15% methanol, bio-diesel fuel produces energy less than 1/3 as pollution as petroleum diesel.
Hemp isn't a drug. *edit* damn, beat me to it. Might add, hemp seed oil is very healthy. Has high levels of omega 3 fatty acids. They are only found in fish, hemp oil and a couple other things, I think.
I think all drugs should be legal. You'll have the ones who destroy themselves from over use but after thats done, I feel the world would be a better place.
Of course hemp should be re-legalized. Our declaration of independence is written on hemp, and it used to be one of the United States biggest exports. Farmers during .. World war 1 I believe, were REQUIRED to grow hemp. It's just ridiculous that hate and prejudice made it illegal in the first place.
Its true that hemp is not a medicine but still it is used at many places at medicine. Atleast for those who like smoking it

Lets get the facts straight first: HEMP Is a byproduct of Marijuana and several other plants (pretty much any plant/shrub/vine, and even some tree's can be made into hemp) Is 100% organic Is NOT illegal Is used to create several industrial fabrications (i.e. rope, clothing, etc) Can be refined to make herbal medicines Can be used in it's natural state to create tea, flax, and other consumable goods Is often confused as Marijuana, as that's the #1 plant that can be used to produce it (I think this is where you got confused) I think your question should be: Should Marijuana be legalized? In which case, do a search and you'll find hundreds of topics on this board discussing it into the ground
Yes Christian above has it right and i can see why as he comes from BC But yeah all drugs should be legalized minus heroin, crack and meth IMO and i dont even do drugs anymore.
