Being a Recording Artist and Musician of more years than I care to state...

It should be allowed as long as Royalties are Paid to the Original Writer who owns the "Publishing Rights & Copyrights" if those Re-mixes are used to make "Profits" in any way, shape or form...

 

Yea, if the person just redistributes the song free, they shouldn't have to pay the original artist. The modified redistribution is a form of promotion for the original artist.

Hell yeah, some remixes are better then the original.

 

I see no reason to not allow remixes. After all most of the things have been done before and I also think that the original creators of the songs get some money for allowing other artists to mix their songs

I think if the remix/remake is done well then it's ok.

As far as those DJ doll remixes goes; HELL NO! They have ruined the songs of Kishore, Lata, Asha & Rafi.

 

Perfectly acceptable as long as a copy of the original be preserved.

 

i think making remix should not be allowed.
we can listens remix of album hardly for 6 or 8 times after that it got bore.but this not case with original song.we can listen it for number of times.
