I Believe Yes becoz people who are not religious talk them selves are looked at as odd, weird, mentally ILL.

Why just becoz you believe in God makes it alright to place your hands together and start talking to the sky.
That is completely screwed up and i hope one day i virus will whipe outall religious people on the earth.

Maybe not mentally ill, but certainly simple, gullible and infantile. Unable to take responsibility for themselves and always needing the reasurance that there of a grown up, in this case an invisible one in the sky, to go running to.

In my Opinion yes or you could say Extremely gullible.

Who in their right mind would believe that a 'god' created the universe? There is a Scientific explanation for everything.

 

Doing this gives them a lot of self support...
Being an hindu i feel its dam good that people pray to an idol/sky/tree/xyz
cause it keeps them self motivated...

just think that u dads/moms blessing are gonna help u....

go to them and touch their feet and say thanks for everything that u have done for me
and then just feel the new feeling that u have...

Studies found that praying for sick people not only had no possitive effect but that those who knew they were being prayed for actually took longer to recover. Though I do agree that the only thing religion is good for is instilling the kind stupidity that makes people want to smash coconuts on their heads.

 

Well may be u are from a background of rich people who don't really seem to know nor care about people from your surroundings who are dying in hunger and pain and have capabilities but are not provided with work.
They cant do anything except dye.
So if u see these people as some idiots who are praying to god and motivating themselves to do something u CANNOT, instead of doing nothing but waiting for rich people like u to come and feed their family and save them from hunger death ... then go aahed ad think what u wish to...

I don't come from a rich family, i have quite a lot of money now, but i grew up with next to nothing. But what my family did, and i still do, is do a lot of work with charities donating both time and money. So while you are sitting in a darkened room talking to yourself thinking that you are helping spare a thought for those who, ya know, actually do something that counts. Because i'm sure if you asked the average needy person what they would rather have between a newly renovated soup kitchen, free medical care and some warm clothes or some pretentious bellend talking to himself and getting all self-righteous about it i'm pretty sure i know which one they will go with.

what a joke praying wont help you get richer or find enough food to overcome hunger NO it will NOT.

Yeah the mind is a wonderful thing, but when it comes to putting food in bellies and innoculations in arms talking to yourself is frankly worthless compared to getting out there and actually doing something.

If you have ever studied religion, there is a sh*tload of evidence for it, and loads against. It just depends on how you look at it.
