Should one laugh or feel sorry?

In the process of reviewing sites for a directory I came across a nice looking sit which on first thought would be a nice addition to my travel directory and then I started reading.

I swear this is a direct copy from hoteltraveler.co.uk.
This has to be a new low and I hope the developer didn't pay for it or if the developer wrote it they had better look for a content writer.

 

I looked at the post and claimed “Oh, Is it Real?”

 

Love it. Need to sign this writer up, now!

 

Love it, I can't imagine how much skill it would take for a native English speaker to create that.

 

I swear it was created by some autotron sort of program that claims to spit out articles. I don't even think a monkey would write that poorly.

 

Never thought of that but you could be right. There are people peddling software which converts English to (I think) French and then back to English. They claim it will always be unique and therefore big G wuill, treat you with kindness.

 

Yeah, looks automated to me. I love the, "extremely exotical atmosphere." hehe.

 

They probably used an article spinner or something similar. That's what it looks like.

 

If it's an article spinner, it's not a very good one since it's so full of typos.

Editing a directory can be a depressing experience, because you get to realise just how poor a great deal of web copywriting is.

 

Having hired writers on the cheap, I would guess that this was made by flesh and blood, not 'bot.

 

As far as I can see, there is nothing wrong with this content. Grammar, sentence construction, spelling etc., all are perfect. In fact it is a work of art. When I was a kid, I remember reading comics about `Bizarre World' (hope I got that name right), where everything was topsy turvy. This article has been plagiarized from their planet. Believe me or not (with due apologies to Ripley)

 

One possitive thing on the text mentioned above: It attracts your attention. Maybe this is its main purpose...

I don't think so. Look at the whois information and you will understand. Dear Mr Brown, please protect our national domain from shame!!! Look at France and some other European countries - you cannot register their domain names without actually being a resident.

 

Awesome man. That is such a motivational boost for those who can indeed write well!

 

It is, and I'm pretty sure that it IS indicative of the ability of those that do not.

 

I could not refrain from sharing this heading of an article on `Ezinearticles'

I hope one day we also have "a lighting plan for the bathroom that scrubs and washes"

or

"a lighting plan for my desktop that composes articles"

 

Really? I didn't know it can be that bad. lol

 

Yikes!! Yeah, I would have to say that is pretty bad.

I guess they couldn't afford to go and review it in person at those prices so an auto translator program was the answer. Or perhaps the large price you have to pay is a lack of grammar/proofreading/human touch -- too costly for my liking.

 

I definitely feel sorry, but laugh a little bit too. =) =)
