is there any reason that www format better than non www? Someone told me I should change site domain to include www, should I do that?
Either one or the other is fine. Be sure to stick to one format though, it's best to 301 redirect the one you're not using to the other or you may find people link to the wrong version.
You can also tell google which way you prefer thru web master tools. As said before select your choice and stick to it.
I think overall it boils down to your preference. For me on my server I have them all be www. before the domain. Users will usually assume the www. should be there (In my opinion) but for me my preference is to have the www there and if they just type in the domain.com the server automatically redirects to www. domain .com. Hope that helps. Peace, DJ Bill
It is wrong. Both are fine. But lots of users uses ctrl + website domain without com. and the browser automatlly add www and com with the string.
Both are fine, but in the USA they tend to use www. Where in Europe they tend not to. I think this is just a habit or early training. We only use www and set the domain preference in GWT.
Thank you for everyone input here.I also think that no matter www or non www,it is the same for SE.Since I did lots of link building for non-www,I will stick on non-www.
