Pushed? haha blowing it out of proportion don't you think? I believe the commentator used the correct term...ushered.

Perhaps if your team started winning more trophies you would understand that the media have to get photos of them holding the trophy etc. He was in the way and they ushered him out of the way. Perhaps you should educate these people on there rolls and they might know what to do...

I remember after that happened there were hate sites forming on the internet...talk about an "us against the world" attitude.

Probably for the same reason that I am.
If it was posted where it belongs (in the Entertainment/Sports section), then I wouldn't be reading it. What's the point in having a sports section if people ignore it?

Not everyone lives to watch other people play sports

[sorry:there's a bee in my bonnet]

Clearly, the Australian players and the umpires were not sportsmanlike. India was treated badly. This has been happening for a pretty long time. It came to light only because of the media glare this time.

India being a great team and the BCCI being sucha powerful body, India should pull out of the series to put things right andf to make their intentions clear of not tolerating any such incidents. The ICC and CA willbe in trouble in that case. Thanks.

Yes. India should immediately come out from Australia canceling the remaining test match. None would have ever imagined that the umpiring standards should go to such abysmal levels. If the umpires continue to behave like this, then no country, however good they are, can able to win the game. It will result in slow but steady decline in the standard of the so called gentleman's game. :(

Blaming the umpire after loosing a game is poor. Umpires do make mistakes, they're only human after all but this has been blown way out of proportion.

Umpires makes mistakes because they too human beings, few mistakes is differ from lots of mistakes, almost on every cricket atleast one mistake made by umpire and we acknowledge them, 'its ok, they're human and it happens', but have you ever seen like a match in SCG before...

India has a track record lots of lost matches against Australia, are the Indians everytime arguing like this at the end each match.. nop, we know whoever plays the best cricket they deserves to win...

Is Ponting is an official one to showup the finger to the umpire in the Ganguly's case.. and umpire rises up his hands without asking for the replay..

While, in the field umpires are human and what happened to 3rd umpire? He has some machines with him for better view to take good decisions, but still the he too make mistakes (or his television is not clear!!) by not giving out for Symonds...

One final word, Indians are always ready play good game of Cricket, we love cricket, its almost like a religion in India, we honor good sportsmanship than talented players

Hope you watch some previous clashes between India and Australia. Do you know Mr. Michael Slater and what he did in 2001 test match in India... What happened to Muralitharan, what happened to Ramnaresh Sarwan and there is lots more..

Aussies will play good cricket when things goes on their way, if they seems to loose the game, they will play mind games on the field and tries to get out the batsman..

Australia should apologize for the happenings before the next match or otherwise if India plays it will be a dead match all along... :(

It seems all happened with a pre-planned one by making wins Australia to equal their own records.. I love this spirit of planning..

    P.S. I just found a good read here http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,23015356-5010761,00.html

No, but cricket is a broken game. There needs to be some sort of process like in tennis where players can request a third empire a certain number of times per game to stop this shitty umpiring.

    Edit: Tour has been suspended.

BCCI should pull the most weight in ICC because it is the biggest and most wealthy. ICC undervalues BCCI over Australia.

Now no more dalmiya as chairman so i doubt how we can put pressure in ICC. Secondly there are no rules in ICC that can suspend a umpire for wrong decisions.lol

India should go all out against the aussies and duck-ner (/sarcasm). Teach them a good lesson. Its a good time to play mind games with aussies and bring their morale down to the lowest. lol

Soon we will see bangladesh winning 4-0 test series against aussies :D
