Should I worry about abnormally high CTR?

I have a site that's been getting about 2000 pageviews and 2% CTR very consistently over the last few weeks.

Today, for some reason, I'm at 800 pageviews and 11% CTR.

Is this a statistical fluke or is something weird going on?
Will this showup on Google's fraud radar?

Also, for some reason, the earnings/click are very low. About 1/4 of normal.

I noticed something strange with my Adsense revenu just yesterday...just a total drop off. But it is back to normal again.

If you didn't change anything to your site and the CTR shot up like that, AND it's represented by a large amount of impressions and clicks, then that's odd.

But percentages don't mean much with small amounts of data.

Another thought: if a new advertiser came into your niche with better ads, they could be getting more response.

If you aren't doing anything wrong, don't worry about it. Just keep working.

Sudden increase in CTR plus low earnings = Clicks from a single IP. Inform Google.
