I am going to make a massive article website with loads of information on loads of stuff basically. What should I do? Should I make my own website, like make every single page including all the articles or use wordpress?

If you know any other sites that can provide a good script for what I am looking for please tell me and also tell me what I should do...

    Many thanks!

use readymade scripts like wordpress or joomla..
but make a custom template for your site.. that will give an unique look.

Yeh but if I create a site out of articledashboard (which I think i may) it is a directory... But I do not know if many people will go to my directory to actually look at the stuff as it is not created by me... but all the articles i have ready are created by me... If you know what I mean...

Lol, should I create an article directory? Or an information site..?

Well basically, which one can I earn more money out of from adsence?

The AD dashboard script can be used however you like. It can be customized and setup so that only you can add articles. In fact, you can customize it to the point to where the only thing that will remain that makes it identifiable as an AD script is the link in the footer.

However, the AD script would not be my first recommendation. There are better ways to go, but it is an option.

You will potentially earn more with a site that has unique content on it. Article directories full of duplicate content do not perform very well with AdSense or any other type of ads.

    Ok, so not a directory...

You said there are better ways to go, what are these better ways? Do you mean like WP?

    Many Thanks,

Yes, I was referring to using WP. WP can even be setup so that it isnt really a "blog". For an example take a look at this Fish Aquarium site. Most visitors would not realize that it is a blog. Of course there is a link for the feed in the footer, but there are no comments or registration/login links.

I am not trying to hide the fact that it is WP, I am simply using it as my content management system. Adding new pages and being able to make modifications to the theme are very simple. With all the themes available and the ease in which a theme can be modified along with all the different plugins that can be obtained you have a lot of room for developing the site to suit your own needs and goals.

Its just today that I realized how I can use Wordpress as a CMS. You can take look at one of my websites: http://www.biologyformhtcet.com

Earlier, I use to hand-code everything, like the way earlier websites were constructed. But Something caught my observation that SEO-wise, Wordpress is much superior. Also the availability of plugins make life so much easier!

Though it may feel nice to have your own script, you may actually be left out if you cannot implement the latest cool features.

Joomla or Drupal would probably fit your needs better. More episodic.
