The vendor for one of the products I am promoting has its own hoplink. The link works and my affiliate ID is on the order page. They indicated that by using their hoplink it will provide better tracking. I've never done this before and wondered whether I should use this link or just stick with the regular Clickbank link.
I think it should be ok, a lot of vendors do this - especially if they have multiple pages to choose from, but maybe just have a look round the vendors site and check there are no leaks, or that your hop doesnt get mysteriously overwritten, but as long as you can see your hop at the bottom of the page then it is essentially the same as clickbank hop
Don't worry, to check if the hoplink from vendor is valid, just open the hopink where your AFFIN is within then check the AFFID at the bottom of order page.If the affid is your Nickname id,so the hoplink will be valid. for instance, my product offer hopink as :http://zzzzz.regtweaker.hop.clickbank.net/?gid=&yid=&aid=&tid=&s=download.php, replace zzzzz by you Nickname id, then open this hoplink you will be brought to download page , it seems no your Nickname ID display, however once you reach the order page , you will find your Nickname id while you check the affid at the bottom of the page. it is the same as default CB hoplink of zzzzz.regtweaker.hop.clickbank.net. hope will be your help.
hi guys, another stupid question if we use the vendor's hoplink, will it be recorded to our report in clickbank's member page?
