Hi If I create a website, then write an article on a PR6 site to back link to it, then create another article linking to the previous article that then links to my website, should I be using the same anchor text? I believe that this type of back linking is quite effective (from what I've read, at least). Thanks.
I would also be very interested in knowing if this is effective, it sounds like there should be no reason why it should be better than writing a new article. I can knock up 250-300 words in 10 mins about my subject normally. Keeping it fresh it a demanding though. Love to hear from people in the know on the O.P.'s point. cheers
Yes you should use similar anchor text, but dont use the exact same text as your "backlink page" may outrank you !
Thanks for the replies. I will use similar anchor text but not identical as you suggested. However, do you know if this method of back linking, i.e. "chain" backlinking, as I call it, is better than creating normal backlinks? What is the advantage (if any) of creating backlinks to other banklinks? Thanks.
Surely the anchor test is critical, it will be your keyword that you want to rank higher for? If you change it the benefit of the article will be lost on a key work that may not have good word density on your site or just not a keyword you wish to promote.
Yes It is important to use appropriate keywords for back links. When you link from an relevant article, it is considered as genuine back link by search engines. Generally try to back link from sites that has less outgoing links which increases link juice
I think if you are using same article in different article site, change the anchor text. I don't know about other also, I am not an expert in this field.
