Should I use the competitive ad filter?

I'm making decent money from adsense, usually getting a fairly decent CPC. Should I still use the competitive ad filter to block out MFA sites?

I'm not currently using it at the moment.

Is this an actual proven way to get more per click?

 

I think using this would help get rid of those 3 cent clicks. It's not worth having a visitor leave your site for 3 cents IMO.

 

If something works, don't touch it!
