Should I Use Tags?

I just dowloaded and installed Ultimate Tag warrior on 1 of my sites. After looking at the reuslts and all of the various new pages that it creates, I started thinking that maybe search engines may view these tag pages as spam.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

I'm using technorati tags at the end of my post and it brings me a lot of visitors.

    Why do you think so?
Personally I'm using Ultimate Tag warrior too and it's great I think.

It depends on how much traffic you get from SE's vs how much extra traffic your tags bring. Usually tags are good but in some cases they aren't worth adding.

From purely a navigation point of view I find tags useful for hopping around different posts on my blogs. I also get some hits from Technorati based on tags, so they have some value.

I also like the tags, but I recently had a site dropped from MSN search and the only reason I can figure it out is that they viewed all of my tag pages as spams of the original posts.
