We already payed a guy to do that site and he ended up using flash, and now I know that flash is very, very bad with SEO, so I don't know what to do now.. Any suggestions?
Just run the numbers first. How many visitors to the site end up inquiring about pool service? How many of the people that inquire end up following through and getting the service? How long does the average customer keep the service? Based on this you can find out what each visitor to the site is worth. If a visitor is worth $1 and you can purchase traffic for $.50 then of course it is worth it.

don't forget Yahoo and MSN are also great networks to do PPC on. They are a lot cheaper. I would also create some EZine articles related to pool services which should be of high value - for example the best ways to keep you pool clean or how salt water pools compare with clorine etc. A 500 word article is a great start and will not take you hours since your dad is the expert. Great ideas, I was thinking of creating some articles for like "Pool Service in Arizona" or something like that, I just don't know if that would be too much advertising and we won't get approved.. .. Yeah, u should... Also try linking and advertising in social networks for maximum exposure among your community and also to others. Nowadays local marketing has become the best strategy.
