Should i use google analytics and webmaster tool?

I have heard some issues on these, so i wanted to know whether I should be using google analytics and webmaster tool or just stick to awstats.

 

Google analytics is a great tool of tracking the traffic and source of traffic.

 

Google Analytics and Webmaster are great tools to track your site traffic and also track your SEO is in right direction or not.

Both are Free Tools and Highly Recommended By SEO Experts around the world.

Alteast Google Webmaster is a must, as it will help you understand how google see your website. GWT Particularly is very useful in improving your website's visibilty in Google.

yes thats right. Google analytic will expose you great detail information about your traffic and Google webmaster will show you various on-page issues regarding your websites. It is Mandatory

I know I am a little paranoid about Google having all my data but really there are no viable alternatives. At least not free ones.
I tried using Piwik at one stage but quickly gave up and returned to GA.

Google analytics is so well sorted now there's really no reason not to use it.

 

No doubt google analytics and google webmaster is the best tool for tracking the traffic for the website. Dont go for the different toool to track as there is no fix result from others tool. They doesn't give the exact result. Their result do vary in each show of traffic . I used several tool for tracking the traffic but in the last i stick to google analytics and google webmaster.

I agree, at the minimum you need Google Analytics! I use woopra as well because it's quick and super user (Noobie) friendly!
