Hi, I've been on DP now for about a week, and this is my first time posting. Some great people and info here. I've been running AdSense on my site (cvsr.net) since 2003. The site gets a good amount of traffic thanks to a flash game I made a while back which has spread around the net. Thankfully I had the sense to put a link to my site in it. I get around 10,000 visits a day with only about 8% of that being return visitors. Pageviews comes in around 25,000. So my thinking is that most come, play the game, and leave. The main source of traffic according to my analytics page is the US and Brazil, and judging from the posts on my boards, I'd guess males between age 14-20 (with a few very immature ones). The site actually made a pretty good profit with Adsense, even after hosting costs, but then last week I got the dreaded "account disabled" email. I'm going to appeal it of course because I did NOTHING to warrant it... but it got me thinking. Should I try affiliate advertising, with say CJ or Azoogle? It seems like everyone here agrees you can make more this way, it just requires more work and maintainence. The only problem I see is my site's theme is based on an illegal activity (street racing) so I'm not sure if I'll be approved. I've thought about turning the site into a car culture-themed flash game site since I have some other games I could get finished and put up, but that would mean a lot of time without income if Google rejects my appeal. you can try cj for sure, other then those you can sell banner ads , text link ads you will get lot of sponsors here at dp market area, just give the basic 15 day period to post thread in market place you will get good responce, your site seems to be getting lot of visitors.
