should i trust paypal

i am new to paypal my friends told me that paypal is not a site to trust on is that so

 

Its trustable ... You have to be careful on how u do the transcations... Paypal is only a payment processor

 

its widely used, and probably 99% online freelancers use them for money transaction.
but they are unfair with sellers, they provide chargeback protection for buyers.
which is pathetic, they should provide equal protection for both sellers and buyers.

 

First of all Paypal is Trustable,secondly it is the most used online payment processor.I have been using it for years just like the other people who are working online and doing business.But try to be with paypal according to their TOS and use your legal information for a verified account then I think you wont have any trouble.Best of Luck.

 

You could definitely trust Paypal as it is governed by laws. With that said, you should not blindly trust the people (buyers or sellers) who uses Paypal. Do your due diligence on the other party and only when you satisfy yourself that the other party can be trusted, you may deal with them.

If you read the posts here, there are many who advocate using fake details, sign up from non-supported countries, using fake IDs such as VCC or forged ID, underaged and so on. People who you should not trust when dealing with business.

Paypal is great when you use it for payments for physical items which needs to be shipped by independent shipping agent with online tracking and provides proof of delivery. It was conceived for used with online auctions and that is why eBay bought Paypal. Although it supports virtual items, it provides NO level of protection for both buyers and sellers as there is no way to independent prove if the buyer or seller is honest. However with virtual items, the buyers are usually sided as they are the one who is out of pocket as they paid first. In Paypal, it is not like the sellers are all honest, there are quite a number of bad hats too.

 

You can trust it. They have very strict guidelines though. Just make sure you follow all the rules.

 

The ones who do not trust Paypal are those who make bad deals than blame Paypal. It is not Paypal's fault when you make a deal with a dishonest person. You should do your research and be careful on who you deal with.

I have been using Paypal for several years, I have never had a problem. It is reliable and trustworthy but it is only a payment processor not your protector or your mother.

 

I've never a come across a person I know,who has troubles with paypal, but I've seen in some internet articles users complain about PayPal. the thing you should know is deliver the items/products/... 24-48 hours after recieving the money,thats all
