    Hi,
I have found a niche which is searched for around 46 thousand per month. The search results in google for that term are about 1.9 million. The yahoo site explorer shows that the site on top of google search for that niche has around 1500 backlinks. And that site has around 44k page indexed by google:eek:
Should i go fot this niche?

Plus i wanna ask that when u people go for a new niche,The site or blog will take around 1 month be to indexed by google and it will take around 3-4 more months before you start getting some traffic for google. So,what do you people do in these 3-4 months?any alternatives to get the traffic?except PPC?
    Thanks!

Any niche is good as long as you are PASSIONED about it. I don't think I could write something I'm not interested in. Earnings come with traffic and quality posts.

In the 3-4 month before google send you traffic, you should continuously write, "socialize" with that signature on similar forums/blogs.

I have to tell you that the time you have to wait is not always 3-4 month. I bought a .com domain that it wasn't used for a year before that and I think it was on the black list or something because google indexed me only after 5-6 months and started to send me a FEW searches in one year. I had everything it needed, backlinks, content, traffic from other sites; it was actually popular, but not because of Google, so have limited expectations.

If you choose your nitche according to Google, mostly you'll stop writing very soon! Just choose the nitche that you love and know much about.

If it's something you like and are willing to work on, go for it. It's not always about making money out of the box.

If you can write quality content about your niche and are willing to look for links from other on-topic websites I thing you'll get to the top very quickly.

never try never know. just go for it. apart from hosting fee you might lost nohting but hard effort. who know you might monopolize this niche if your site runs good. XD. good luck.

oops didnt see the second part. during 3-4 months what you cna do is advertise and link building like mad coz your site is unknown to all net user. think about building link as for drawing more traffic not for PR will make you get a target traffic. also do some basic SEO for your site for better ranking as well.
