Should I Target One Keyword or Multiple Keywords at the same time?

You can target multiple keyword for multiple page or home page

I'm number 10 for "black comedy stand up". I'm trying to boost that up, not sure what to do though. The site is blackcomedystandup.com.

Ahh you guys are awesome. So I'm going to target "black comedy stand up" as the keyword as it has what I need, then maybe I'll be ranked higher for "Black stand up comedy" which gives better results.

Well actually, maybe I am doing good. I just saw the real keyword I want to target "Black Stand Up Comedy" and I'm on page 4. Ahh this is great. I need more backlink building techniques though.

 

you can focus many keywords, but have it on different webpages. becos it makes our work too easy to get.

 

I wish you to consider on search volume for that keyword - then go for long-tail keyword with descent search volume.

Its all always better to target long-tail keyword, there will be less competitor for you - you can get top #10 position as easily if you did quality SEO for your site.

 

Isn't "black comedy stand up" a long tail keyword? I could go for "black stand up" or even "stand up". Are there any longer tail keywords, I want to try to get those too.

 

I am not sure 1 can penetrate google keyword because of the many competitors who use the same keywords ...
But, perhaps with 2 or more keywords to increase website traffic and can be caught by google depending on how you maintance website and its selection of keywords, too
