I disagree. Does Adsense allow you to set your own price? AdBrite does. Adsense does not. It's just there's a glitch in AdBrite's landing page that my advertisers won't go further to payment.
why not test it out for a week or two? I run adbrite for cpm on my forum and it's a few extra cents a day that I wouldn't get normally. You don't have much to lose even if it performs worse than adsense.
I think it depends on what kind of website you are running. some ads is very low for adsense, but you know adbrite is not so related to your content,so its price is possible higher than adsense. additionally, if your website has more traffic, it will be better to choose adbrite. it will pay for CPM. so just test it, you will know what happen.
Today's earnings: 5 clicks >> 0.08$ Good bye AdSense. My niche is SOFTWARE REVIEWS. Right now i'm testing AdBrite.
i dont think 4000 page views a day is enough. I ran adbrite at 2000~ of my invintory each day and after 15 days about 28,000 impressions i made 41c which was mostly cpm adverts and had 1 click. I think if however you are like alexa and have invintory of 300,000+ page views a day (to which they charge a nice chunk of change $2-4ecpm i think?) your going to have more success. Another network that i have replaced this adspot with is www.projectwonderful.com to which im getting 10c a day, or $1.5 for 15 days at the moment but I am hoping the ad value will go up to a $1 a day for now.
