Should I stick with Yahoo for PPC advertising?(I am a customer, not publisher)

In light of reading the other threads, I am now worried. Yahoo appears to be banning publishers left and right. Their main reason is poorly converting traffic. I happen to be getting poor conversions myself. I am spending like $5-7 a day on advertising and am actually losing money. So something is wrong due to a negative ROI! What other advertising companies are better or how do I make Yahoo work for me?

Your ROI sucks because Yahoo! has horrible targeting in the YPN network.

Should I disable CM(content match) searches and just relay on SS(sponsored searches) will this mean YPN users won't see my ADs and that my ADs will only appear on the Yahoo search website under "paid sponsors"

Content match relates to YPN websites.

Not going to lie to you, even though I hate the YPN! Network.

Yahoo doesn't fail at sponsored search. I have used it, works great.

Disable the content match and keep the sponsored search.

If I was you I would call YPN and complain...they are falling through on their end of the deal imo.

at 5-7 dollars a day you are complaining? give me a break. thats not even a large enough sample to come up with full day averages, trends, etc.

i do agree though, get out of the content network. if you cant make your ads and website / service convert for you on sponsored search you will not likely find your savior in the content network. with that said, if your conversions on the search network arent doing well either, maybe you need to rethink your marketing tactics / landing pages.

I am getting converts, the problem is my ROI is not favorable. I will take your advice and disable CM and just keep SS. Most of my affiliated sites are getting mostly SS clicks but I have a few sites getting about half of each. Spending $5-7 a day is alot when im only getting about 2 converts a week and my ROI appears to be zero at best. If I assume most or all my converts are due to SS then by disabling CM, my ROI will jump to 50-100%

Furthermore, id like to advertise the best converting websites with other AD companies than just Yahoo so I drive more traffic and due to 100% ROI, I want more traffic! Is google SS just as good? What about MSN and any of the 100+ other AD services? Which have worked for you and gotten good converting traffic?

Disable the CM and focus more on your ad groups and target your keywords that work your page.
