Hi, I'm planing to start a website belongs to classifieds. I'm little confused. What I'm planning is, the site is targeting to a specific country audience. I'm going to create 40 sub-domains which will target concern metro city. on each sub domain there will be classifieds for that city. My question is, either I should start a general classifieds or Job Ad Classified. Which will be more beneficial? P.S. I'm placing adsense on that. so, that point of view, which one should be more profitable? I'm working a lot for that site's SEO. Ideas are welcome ....! Thanx in Advance !
You could try a model similar to Craigs List. They post all classified ads, but the only ones they charge for are job listings? Why are you going with subdomains?
I'm going with subdomains because every subdomain name is a name of that city. means if the subdomain is mumbai.domainname means "mumbai" is the city name. I have separated the cities with subdomain names. is there any other options?
You should start from one subdomain as a city. You can start for Classifieds Site or Job Classifieds Site both are great niches.
