Should I spend money on Yahoo directory and Botw?

One of my sites is listed in BOTW. The page where my site is listed is PR2 and has around 20 outbound links on the page.

It's $300, a bit steep maybe, but the link is permanent and from a very relevant page. I would advise you to analyse the page where your site would be listed and see whether you think it's worth spending the money.

If I consider that my website will be up and running for the next five years, I'm paying $60 a year for a relevant, high quality PR2 link. Which isn't too bad at all.

The downside to it all is that you don't get to choose your anchor text. Some people seem to have gotten away with this, but chances are they will list your site as your company name.
