If you start making money that is well above your other accounts, should you create another adsense account.

    Thanks

You mean channel or account? Yes, always separate channels. And yes, a lot of people create separate corps to maintain diff AdSense accounts.

I remember a while back that there was a thing where if one website in your account was considered to be fake or made for adsense, that it will lower the revenue/potential of all sites in the account

There are more MFA sites than legit sites, so that rumor cannot be true. However, the type of traffic/clicks you bring will affect your earnings. Bring in US/UK traffic for highest earnings.

If you create a separate adsense account you need to change ownership of the site, even if you are the new owner. To be more precise: A single entity should not have multiple adsense accounts, however if you see a particular site doing rather well it may be a smart business decision to break it off into its own company, but it wiull cost some money.

    1) You need a unique tax payer id or social security number, the cheapest way is to get a family member involved, a sibling or wife or parent. Use their SS nunmber to create the new account and cut them in for a piece (they will have to pay taxes on the income). Or if your making serious cash, create a new corporation - You can ususally find a CPA or paralega to incorporate you for under $400 in the states. Then you will get a tax-id which can be used for the adsense account. - besides the cost of incorporating, there will be yearly renewals and you will have to file taxes for that company!

    2) Transfer the ownership at your domain registrar to the new entity, either the person or company, I would also use a different address just to be safe - it really needs to be a unique entity to be ligitimate.

    3) Update all the info on the site to reflect the new ownership.

This can be complicated but if your making decent money it can easily be worth it. Especially if you want to sell your site, makes it much easier!

How much are you making now? If you are not making over $5.000/month then I think you should not worry.

If you are making over $5.000/month then you can create another account but with different name. It can be your company name. However you should log to your adsense account or any G! account from a different computer and internet connection! :)
