should i sell php.info or develop it?

    Hi there.

I just got an offer for my domain "php.info" in the mid x.xxx € range. To be honest: I don´t have to and I dont really want to sell for this price. What´d you think? I´m still thinking of developing it into a php-community and sell it in like two years time...

So the question is: developing or selling it now?

    Thanks.

Nice domain! I think that either route will be profitable, do you have the time/php know how to run a php community?

i would develop it and never sell it to no one! that's great domain if you put up some work you can really get a good site!
but it needs time and effort!

If I were you, I would sell it quickly while the buyer doesn't change his mind. It's a great offer. I wouldn't have time to develop it and I neither have php knowledge.

    Anyway, good luck! :)

That´s too valuable domain name to sell

I know x.xxx bucks can be interesting sum of money, but you will never buy a hose with it:)

on the other side well developed website like this can earn you a genuine income in the next couple of years, so If I were you I´ll do a marketing research, maybe hire a couple of professional and run straight into a business!!!

I guess the price for this domain can only go up in time. Especially if developed. I'd treat it like a mutual fund investment :)

It really depends on whether you have the knowledge, time, and inclination to develop the domain.. if so, I'd say to keep it if you don't need the money..

I'd say sell it. Try to get the buyer to pay more if anything. If not, who cares, they won't see a ROI for a while..

PHP is such a huge and complex language that I'd find it hard to cover everything. That and the fact PHP has it's own huge community+site, I would sell the domain.

For me it would be too much work, too much effort, and have too much current competition to gain much from it.

Ask for a high price as it's an excellent domain. If they don;t accept, don;t worry. the domain will only increase in value over time.

Congratulations on a great investment. I wish you luck :)

I would keep it for a few more years, and develop it in the meantime.
Then chase the right buyer to sell it to. Selling a valuable domain like this as undeveloped would not be the best thing to do, I believe.
