I have someone offer me recently $3,500 for my FB page that has 70,000 Likes on it. I'm really considering it.
It depends. Are the likes on the page real (natural)? Are they targeted to a certain market? Targeted to a certain city/state? If most of the likes are not natural and doesn't target a certain market or location, then I'd sell it in a heartbeat for $3500. But lets say all were natural and to a specific city, this could be a valuable marketing platform for a local business.
Do you monetize it? How much profit you get from it every month? Compare it that to what has been offered to you and then decide if it is worth $35K
Do people sell Facebook pages? This is the first time I have heard of this. Why would you want to sell your Facebook page?
Could you please tell me how could you get 70,000 likes? so that i can also apply that strategy for my business page..
Create a FB page with a catchy title like (Make money online). Go to Fivver and order thousands of fake/bot created likes. Bam you have a FB page with thousands of likes. I might add this is useless for effective marketing though. Best way to do it takes time, as follows: Create a FB page about your niche. Invite your friends to the page. Create and post useful and viral content to page that people will like and share. Be active, often on page Boost/Advertise your page directly through FB. If your active and posting sharable content on your page it will grow pretty quick. This page will then actually be targeted to your niche with Real likes. Will be great for marketing to.
yes it depends i dont sell it if i have 70 k i will much improve it and make more money even you have fake bot likes you can leverage that to get real fans so dont sell it if you dont have time to invest on you fb page and if you really need quick money or u in mass debt then no choice you need that 3.5k but if non of that dont sell it and improve it it will be ur mine for money!!
I want to clear the air on some things. #1. This page that I have was built organically EVERY like that I have. But in a few different areas. #2. I as the page I had been spending about 10+ hours everyday posting on other pages much larger pages my viewpoints on the subjects and gaining publicity and likes from that. #3. I've been doing ads for my page getting Likes at 1-3 cents per like #4. I've been posting anywhere from 8-14 posts a day using Hootsuite for scheduling. So the 70,000 has been all my consistent effort. It is not my brand name #1. And as I had said I was posting on other pages so although a good portion where interested my posts and that's what you are after with the algorithm of facebook. Everyone of them were not the closest to the perfect follower. I was going to take the $3,500 and I could use 2000 of that just on ads alone to get 70,000 followers again BUT a LOT more specific to my brand and who would be interested in my website, products.....ect. But the reason I did not end up selling it is because the person who came to me was a scam. He was talking about wanting to become an admin first so he could so some coding, some skammish way to throw me off as an admin so he could take control of my page and leave me in the dust. Luckily I'm smart enough to not fall for this and everyone should be aware of who they make admin because all admins are in control of other admins and can throw them off in a second.
Glad to hear you didn't get scammed! I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find someone that was willing to buy your page, if that's something you wanted to do. What niche is your page built around?
If your page with 70000 followers such as you describe it is much more expensive than 3500$, and you can earn more posting advertising posts to your subscribers.
this is really waste of time, who is selling you this offer do u know him after money if he don't give like then what will u do, i think this is fake process get naturally like soft your page its is important and very much useful,,,
sigh... so many scammers its getting hard to work in this field sometime, good job on spotting the crock.
I had no idea you could sell Facebook pages! If it's legit, and you make less than $3500/month from your page, then I say go for it......if it's legit.
FYI this is not for promotion purposes it's just to let people know where the page stands. It's Personal Growth/Motivation/Inspiration https://www.facebook.com/revolutionalminds
