Should I request a refund??

Would it be inappropriate to request a refund for this? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=120755

My main reason for purchasing this game pack was the fact that this supposedly came with a ready-to-go SQL file for phpAS v. 3.0 to load the games.

As it turns out, the SQL I was sent doesn't work - When I asked the seller if he could provide me with a working SQL file his response was: "I will try my best."

I have no ETA on when I will get the working SQL file, and it doesn’t seem to be a priority to the seller. That leaves me with 3725 uploaded flash games that I cant use.

I've been waiting a week to get this working so I can start promoting my site, banner exchanges, etc. and this is a real let down.

    Any thoughts?

If he's too lazy to give you one text (sql) file, how do you expect him to treat a refund? :O

It's probably be better to ask again for the sql.

he sold the games with an sql file that was supposed to work, it doesn't, he sold you damaged goods. if he doesn't make good, you can open a dispute ticket at paypal. that will get him moving one way or the other.
