Should I report this person?

I just posted a thread asking to buy pr3+ domains and this newbie sent me an offer for a PR5 site that was low price so I knew it had to be too good to be true so I checked to see if the PR was fake and indeed it is. Reports from many sites say it is forged. Is this something that should be reported here at DP?

What you did, checking the sites' validity, is what everybody should do before buying websites. It's also pointless to report, because they can simply register a new login.

Ya, thats why i did check. It would slow him down if he got banned and get him out of here for a while cause it takes a while to get approved here. I just dont think he should be allowed here doing that kind of stuff.

If he specifically said VALID PR5 you could try and report him to google for advertising a fake pr5 site as a valid pr5 site (the worst theyd probably do is ban the domain), appart from that if he said valid pr5 and its not valid then forward the PM to a mod if he pm'd you or report the post and let the mods deal with it as they see fit.

you can find an online mod here

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php?

or if it was a post you can use the report post button.

careful though as mods dont get involved in member to member disputes, they are only there to enforce the rules, so if they feel any have been broken they will deal with it appropriately.
